Unified Voices of Johns Hopkins (UV) is a gospel choir that consists of a diverse
group of individuals with different personalities, lifestyles, and backgrounds working
together to bridge the gap between the medical institution and the historic East
Under the direction of Dr. Gregory Wm. Branch, the volunteers are residents of the
Baltimore/ Washington metropolitan communities and are administrators, employees,
faculty, residents, staff and students of Johns Hopkins.
Our motto is "Where there is unity, there is strength."
We hope that through our songs and performances someone's spirit may be lifted. Our
focus on this joyful journey is to promote creativity, community, and cultural diversity.
Since its inception in 1993, Unified Voices has remained goodwill ambassadors by
singing songs of hope, health and healing through harmony at Hopkins.
